La Panoramica Hotel

The cleanliness was zero. We got a room without windows, and the sheets and pillows smelled damp, as if they hadn’t been aired out. After a sleepless night, breakfast was mediocre, and we were still left hungry. This feels more like a hostel than a four-star place.

The bay view from our floor-to-ceiling windows was gorgeous, and the room stayed comfortable even though this older, rustic hotel doesn’t have maximum AC. Rates were decent for peak touring season. We loved this Castellammare Di Stabia hotel, especially the outstanding restaurant and coffee bar onsite. It’s five minutes from the ferry terminal. The staff went above and beyond with transport help and excursion suggestions, with a special shout-out to concierge Nico!

Pretty decent hotel, tbh. Putin was nice too. Thanks for the sparkling water and tomato puree gnocchi 👍 Lots of memories from a very good stay.

The only good thing I can say is that the dining room had a nice view. Our one night here was a complete waste of money, and I’d never come back or recommend it. The room was filthy, with no balcony, terrible short beds, and almost no light in the bathroom. There were no bathroom vents either. The air conditioning wasn’t working when we arrived, and I had to go to reception three times before it was fixed. Then a wasp flew out. The man at reception couldn’t find bug spray at first. When he did, he asked us to help him stand on a wooden table so he could spray the vents. It didn’t work, and the wasp kept flying around the room. It’s an ugly, outdated hotel that needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Trust me, stay far away. I have a picture showing the man climbing on furniture to spray instead of getting a ladder.
