Luigi and the staff were gracious and accommodating throughout a wonderful stay. I’d highly recommend it. If you’re driving, parking can be challenging, but the hotel staff are patient and helpful.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The staff provided great service. Luigi, the front desk manager, couldn’t find us a taxi into town, so he offered his own car and had one of his employees drive us. That was unbelievably generous hospitality. Thank you for such a great experience.

We were only there for one night before going to see Pompeii the next day, but we really enjoyed the evening and dinner. The service was great, and the view was lovely. The pasta alla nerano was really good, especially with the romantic view of Vesuvia.

Getting around this beautiful hotel can be tricky, and you’ll need to manage stairs to reach the best view at the top of the property, where the above-ground pool is. It’s not for the faint-hearted if stairs are difficult for you. Once up there, the view makes it worthwhile. The rooms are modern and clean, and if you stay longer than one night they’re cleaned on request. The staff were warm, friendly, and obliging. Restaurant Vesuvius was amazing, with chef Mario doing his magic, and the wait staff were incomparable. Luigi even used his personal connections to help us charter a private cruise for my daughter’s 34th birthday. Assunta, alias Suzy, was wonderful when we arrived and helped with everything we needed, as did the rest of the reception staff. Breakfast was awesome, and we had a very pleasant stay.
