Villa Marisa Resort

Villa Marisa was a good base for getting to the main tourist spots, halfway between the Amalfi Coast and Naples. The train is a five-minute walk away, and there’s parking at a very affordable price. You’ve got what you need close by, including breakfast across from the hotel and one of the best pizzas at the neighboring le palma, to eat in or take away. The host was really helpful, always available if we needed anything extra to make the holiday better. I also received a box of coffee from the host, which was a lovely, hospitable touch. For peace of mind, I’d highly recommend staying here. I’d visit again if I came to Naples.

We had a really pleasant short weekend in Castellamare di Stabia. The garden is well cared for, and the spotless, comfortable room had a kitchenette, fridge and freezer. The bathroom was very modern, with a shower. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks to Angelo, the host, and to Rosa for your hospitality and the care you put into your work.

The Circumvesuviana stop is only 100 meters away, which made trips to Sorrento and Naples easy without a car. The seafront is about ten minutes by car or half an hour on foot. There’s no private parking, but guests can use the hotel restaurant’s facilities. Breakfast was included and served at the bar and pastry shop across the street. We spent almost two weeks here, four adults in two separate rooms. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and recently renovated, as was the large bathroom, which had shower gel and hand soap. Each room had air conditioning and heaters, including in the bathroom. The kitchenette had an electric stove and all the dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans we needed. There’s no extractor above the stove, though, so frying or cooking heavier meals can leave the room smelling of food. Angelo and all the staff were always available for requests, from a coffee maker to fresh towels and cleaning supplies. It’s generally quiet with no street noise. There can be a lot of noise when the hotel or restaurant next door has a party or special event. Recommended.

Angelo, the owner, is welcoming, very kind, and always available if you need anything. The charming garden offers comfort, and the clean surroundings make it easy to relax. It’s a pleasant place to stay, conveniently located for excursions around the Neapolitan area.
