B&B La Casetta dei Sogni d'Oro

Tonia was wonderful. The place was comfortable and lovely, with good air conditioning and screens on the windows.

Super.

The double room was clean and tidy, though the deodorizer smell was a bit bothersome when trying to sleep. We also found the rooms clean, and the triple room was especially nice, with two rooms and comfortable beds. We booked the triple and double for one night as two families. The B&B’s location was fine too, and there wasn’t really anything to say about the rooms or the site itself. What stood out was the difference between the owners. Her husband sat with us and chatted about Puglia, Bari, and the area. He was kind and friendly, and I even heard his wife scold him before we left, saying that behaving that way would make people leave instead of come. The lady could be unhelpful and rude. She imposed a breakfast time that suited her, and when my husband politely asked for milk, she said she didn’t have four arms, only two, and needed to take her time. Her manner was truly unkind. Maybe she gets too anxious, but treating guests this way drives them away. I definitely won’t return.

Mrs. Antonia won us over right away with her friendly, courteous manner, and even gave us a great lunch recommendation. The place was very clean and tidy, and breakfast was generous. We stayed two nights and had a lovely time. Its location is handy for visiting nearby towns. The only trouble was the mosquitoes. I think pest control would be a good idea. See you soon.
