The location is fantastic, the staff are lovely and helpful, and the pool is lovely too. We spent two nights at this Masseria in the Trullo and had a lovely time overall. We’d come back. The main difficulty was dinner: a large group from the USA was staying there too, and the dining room was extremely loud, making it hard to enjoy our meal. We also went for a wine tasting at a nearby winery. I’d assumed we could walk there or that transport would be available, but Eva said not to walk because of wolves in the area, and no transport was provided. She encouraged us to drive, which meant we couldn’t sample the whole tasting. I strongly suggest the Masseria arrange transport for guests.

For my 60th birthday, my daughters gave me a trip to this vineyard, and it’s a must! Giuseppe is a brilliant guide who knows the produce inside out. It’s been the best day. Please go, you won’t regret it. All the best, Michelle xx

The views across the valley are wonderful, and having a swimming pool is such a bonus. This farmhouse, or masseria, hotel has friendly, helpful staff, especially Paulo, who checked us in. Meals are high quality and served in a beautiful old room with a vaulted ceiling. There are rooms in the main building and others set apart from the farmhouse, with their own veranda. The rooms are basic but very clean.

It’s peaceful, with spacious rooms, a pool, and really nice people. The winery is nearby, and you can buy its wine at the hotel. Alberobello is 15 minutes away. A great place to visit, enjoy, and relax.

The four-course food and wine tasting was fantastic. Everything is produced on site, and it was all extremely tasty. The waiter was attentive and exceptionally knowledgeable. We booked the 1 pm tour with friends for my husband’s 60th birthday, and we were lucky to be the only ones there. Guiseppi took us around the vineyard and showed us where the wine is made, sharing loads of information. It was such a great day.
