Domenico was pleasant and quick to respond. The nearby villages are beautiful, and Chantilly is a treat for breakfast or a snack, especially the tea, which was my favorite. We loved feeling as if we were alone in the world while still being a short drive from all the amenities. We were four, two couples, and the trulli was magnificent inside and out. The heated pool was a big plus. In April, we only needed an indoor room for eating in the evening. A wonderful break from life!

The quiet and the immaculate cleanliness really stood out, along with all the care put into the decor. I spent last weekend in Puglia at Trulli dell'Uliveto, and it turned into a magical break. The Trulli are out in the countryside, not far from Alberobello and several seaside towns. A perfect spot if you want to unwind and get away from the everyday rush.

The beds were comfortable, and the trullo was clean and spacious, with air conditioning throughout. But with children, we felt some basics were missing. There was no television, and since the isolated property wasn't walkable from the village, we needed to stay in. The bathroom had no bidet, either. The garden was a large outdoor space, but it was dry and barren, so not very useful for the kids. The worst part was the narrow, unlit road. We had a large car and had to maneuver quite a bit, and it stayed dark right up to the entrance gate. The gate was chained and we had to open it ourselves. All in all, it didn't feel like good value for money.
