We were offered homemade wine and fruit grown on the property, and had some good conversations with the hosts. They speak English well compared with other places. The dinner included familiar Italian dishes as well as local ones. A real gem, with a clean, peaceful pool and a lovely garden full of different trees and a vegetable patch. The service was top-notch, and conversation was there if you wanted it.

Be careful with these people. They were extremely friendly while we were staying there, and we had no problems at all. But after I posted a very negative, upset review on Airbnb, I realized that friendliness seemed like a show put on to get a positive review. I don't trust them. They had no hesitation about stabbing me in the back.

I want to start by thanking Francesco for being kind, friendly, and dedicated, and to apologize to him for what follows. The breakfast was very basic, and the €135 one-night price didn't match the amenities. The bedrooms need work: the decor feels childish and the mattresses are too hard. The bathroom also needs updating, especially the shower, which is too small. Giulia was barely present. She looked after her cats and dogs, but beyond saying “good morning,” she didn't speak to us. That's a shame.

We spent three peaceful, relaxing days here in the countryside. The villa was well kept, and the owners were hospitable, courteous, and kind. The lady prepared excellent food using local ingredients. Afterward we could unwind by the pool late into the night with a good glass of wine. Highly recommend.

Our room was roomy, cozy, and quiet, and the breakfast had plenty of fresh, good-quality savory and sweet choices. We had a wonderful weekend at Villa Giulia. The owners were welcoming, kind, friendly, and helpful. I'd recommend it if you're looking for peace and quiet, cleanliness, and a warm welcome.
