We found the cottage fine and the park very quiet. It also made a good base for looking around the area, and the nearby stretch of sandy beach is beautiful, with plenty of amenities across nearly 14 km. Having 24/7 security check everyone at the entrance makes the grounds feel safe. You do need a car, though. The park could be a nice holiday spot, but only half the cottages are finished and there aren’t any facilities. The pool shuts by mid-September, and there’s no shop, restaurant, or bar. The dusty dirt road doesn’t make a great first impression. We stayed in late September and early October 2023.

I go there every year because my parents bought an apartment about 15 years ago. I enjoy spending time with my family there, and with the apartment owners, who are nice people. For someone coming on holiday, though, I think there are better options, and honestly I wouldn’t recommend staying there as things stand. It’s a shame, because the place has a lot going for it: lovely Puglian countryside all around, a lovely pine forest with pleasant walking paths, and a nice sea nearby. But the various administrations over the years have done very little to make the most of it. The village has gradually deteriorated over the years, for various reasons. The restaurant and recreation hall were never finished and are now a crumbling ruin; the pool, which was still operating until two years ago, is now closed and overgrown. I really hope I can update this review positively before too long. Update 2023: for now, things are getting worse.

A lovely pool, lots of peace and quiet, and nature all around. I recommend it.

You can still hear and see nature here, which makes it a wonderful place to reconnect with the world.
