Mario was kind and accommodating as a host. The setting is beautiful, though it feels a bit isolated.

It’s a peaceful spot away from the city bustle, but “civilization” is still only a couple of minutes away by car. I found it a great base for exploring the nearby Emilia Romagna area or Northern Italy more broadly.

There was plenty of parking, and the setting was beautiful. We also enjoyed the nearby restaurant. Inside, the clean kitchen and bathrooms and comfortable beds made for a great stay, and we could gather by the fireplace in the evening. Mario gave us a clear tour of the house and arrived on time. We could joke around with him too, “Forza Ferrari Mario!” He also gave us a bottle of wine, which tasted very good.

We had a fantastic food tour around the region, and this beautiful place suited our stay perfectly. Mario was a real host and made things very pleasant for us. Highly recommended!
