This American-style hotel sits right on the main road, with parking in front of each room. It works well for people passing through, and the service was good. Some rooms could use renovation. Our air conditioning wasn't working, as it had only been switched on a few days earlier. Thanks to Sofia for helping us change rooms.

Everything else was perfect, but getting to the shops and restaurants across the road is awkward. The nearest pedestrian crossing is 400 m away, and there are no pedestrian buses along the road, so you have to walk beside busy traffic. The room mattresses are very firm and may not be comfortable for most people.

The hotel makes a good base for seeing the attractions around Lake Maggiore. Our room was a decent size and had air conditioning, and it was cleaned thoroughly. The staff were friendly too. It is close to shopping malls, a large airport, and a fairly busy road, so you can hear plenty of planes during the day. The food is Italian style, though they serve few vegetables and fruits.

Wow, what a little gem. Clean and safe, with a good price and an excellent breakfast. Great for walks near the lake. Five stars.

Our flight was cancelled, and the airline put us up here for the night. Lucky us! The room was spacious and had a hot tub, and the staff handled the sudden crowd from the cancelled flight quickly. Breakfast was a good buffet, and the hotel is very close to Lago Maggiore.
