The views of nature are amazing, and it’s such a peaceful spot to unwind. The manager and staff were patient and very helpful. Inside, the hotel has fabulous interiors, plus a pool, table tennis and other games. I loved the food, some of the best Italian food I’ve had, and they have their own wines too. It was a great experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a break with family or a partner.

That view is the one thing that earns this place another star. The rest felt old and dated, with parts that seemed unfinished. The restaurant was very expensive and the food disappointing. Lunch and dinner for two came to 170 €, which might have been okay if the meal had been great, but it wasn’t. Even the wine let us down. Our room was very hot, with no AC or fan, and had a slight smell of smoke. All in all, I don’t think this place is worth visiting.

The local food, pools and homely atmosphere were our favorite parts, and we loved our week here. Francesca and her team make it feel like a family place, rather than a hotel, and everyone was super helpful. The farm makes great wine, too. It’s pet friendly, which mattered a lot to us, and our three children and dog enjoyed it as much as we did. The house and grounds are beautifully kept. Our refurbished room was cozy, especially the bathroom, and the shared spaces were welcoming. With only 10 guest rooms, it stays peaceful. The mountain setting among vineyards is quiet and relaxing, and the sunset from the jacuzzi-pool was stunning. There’s nature all around: we saw rabbits and eagles, and heard pigs at night. A car is a must for the winding roads, getting to the lower pool, and exploring the historical villages nearby. The seaside is about an hour away. There’s no air conditioning, though it wasn’t really hot up in the mountains. Breakfast is a traditional Italian spread with local bakery items and delicious homemade cakes, but no cold cuts or hot eggs. Don’t expect a standard hotel welcome, hot buffet or lots of amenities. It’s a farm stay with a family feel, so if you’re easygoing about service and standards, you can really enjoy it. We definitely will be back!

The food was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great day at this authentic place in a lovely location. Highly recommended.
