From the terrace, with its outdoor furniture, the views are spectacular. We even saw deer, wild boar, and squirrels. The place is in a magical spot in the heart of the Chianti Valley, and the staff are very friendly. The house is beautiful and has nearly everything you might need. A pool would have been welcome in the heat after a long day exploring nearby. There was a bottle of wine, olive oil, and three bottles of water waiting for us, a lovely touch. My only bedroom complaint is that the twin bed mattress was a bit hard, though it’s an easy fix.
