We spent a week at Ricudda working remotely from 9 to 5, and the Wi-Fi was flawless. From the windows of Apartment “Pero,” one of the three apartments at Ricudda, we had a lovely view of vineyards and nearby hills that we couldn’t stop looking at. We even managed without a car. Mario was exceptionally polite and open, and gave us a lift with some groceries when we arrived. We walked to Castellina in Chianti in about 40 minutes, a great walk, and Mario also helped us get to local food and fresh produce. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Tuscan life.

We spent nine wonderful days in a perfectly clean apartment with comfortable beds and a pleasant bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we had no problems with anything. The manager was very helpful and easy to contact, thank you for your hospitality, Mario. Agriturismo Ricudda is close to Castellina in Chianti and a great base for visiting Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and even Val d'Orcia valley. It’s right among the vineyards, with peace, quiet and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend it if you want to experience real Tuscany.

The main drawbacks were the road and the bathroom. The last 800 m are downhill on a dirt road, and the bathroom is a bit cramped, so showering takes some acrobatics. Otherwise, we had a great time at “Il Pero,” one of three holiday rentals among olive groves and vineyards. It’s spacious, nicely renovated and has plenty of parking. All we heard were crickets and birds, and the family’s dog next door was very docile. Thanks to Mr. Mario for being so kind and helpful when he welcomed us.
