La Tinaia

The garden was gorgeous and so quiet, and the pool was lovely too. We found the beds comfortable, with lots of room, a big fridge and even a small dishwasher. Everything was spotless. They also had homemade olive oil, wine and fresh eggs. Service was just right. A wonderful place in Tuscany if you want somewhere peaceful and beautiful.

We had such a good time with Barbara when we stayed a year ago. Her family were warm and helpful throughout. I mentioned I was struggling to find a particular product at the store, and by the next morning Barbara had left it on the table outside our apartment.

The hosts were such a lovely, helpful family, and very welcoming to our little dog. Barbara met us at the entrance and greeted us with a bottle of red wine. We felt at home the whole time and would book again anytime. We spent two weeks there in summer 2023 and loved how peaceful it was. There are only three holiday apartments, so we nearly had the large shared pool to ourselves. It and the garden were very clean and well cared for. Tinaia had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big hallway and an open living room and kitchen, all clean and decorated in a Tuscan style. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and crockery. Fresh towels and bed linens were provided free after the first week. The breakfast shown on our booking platform wasn’t included, though we didn’t mind. Fresh eggs were available from the host. There’s a supermarket, bakery and several restaurants a few kilometers away. The spot between Florence and Siena works well for day trips, but you really need a car to stay here.

There was so much space both inside and outside, and we had the pool to ourselves. The house was lovely, spacious and very clean. We stayed nine days with our two children and dog, and the owners were very friendly. I’d highly recommend it!
