The location is somewhat isolated from other shops and restaurants, so having a rental car is really necessary. Still, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, and Castellini di Chianti all make easy day trips. The Tuscan villas have beautiful views all around, with sunset vistas, a nice pool, and grounds to walk around. Breakfast is a free buffet each morning, and there’s an upscale restaurant on site for dinner.

The restaurant was a highlight, with gourmet Tuscan food made from fresh local ingredients. We loved dining on the patio with a glass of Chianti Classico, and the breakfast buffet was varied and good quality. The peaceful gardens, refreshing valley-view pool, and serene chapel all added something special. Our spacious, beautifully restored accommodation had plenty of character, mixing medieval charm with modern comfort. The setting is breathtaking, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, with panoramic views and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. From arrival, the warm, helpful staff made us feel at home and went out of their way to help, whether with local tips, arranging wine tastings, or a simple friendly greeting. Relais Riserva di Fizzano is a true hidden gem in the Chianti countryside. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend, five stars!

The apartment was spacious, cozy, and full of character. The whole stay was wonderful, and I’d return in a heartbeat. This Tuscan villa has such a warm, authentic feel, with friendly staff and delicious food. The sunsets are so beautiful they take your breath away. An unforgettable experience! ♥️

The setting at Relais Riserva di Fizzano, right in the heart of Tuscany, is incredible, with breathtaking views and service that’s a full 10/10. Breakfast covers most needs, and dinner at the restaurant is outstanding, honestly hard to beat. Our room was in an older, classic Italian style and perfectly fine, but the bed, room no. 10 or 11, was terrible. The springs had completely collapsed, and it was impossible to sleep on, so I spent half the nights on the sofa. That really needs fixing. Even so, we’ll definitely be back.

This was our second time at Relais Riserva di Fizzano, and we’ve already booked another stay for next year. The rooms are all different and comfortable, and though it’s a fairly short drive from Castellina in Chianti, it’s well worth it for the service and lovely breakfasts. The view of San Giminiano at breakfast and the sunsets over the vineyards are priceless. Ilaria, Sonia and Ana went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Grazie mille ladies, we can’t wait to come back.
