The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the garden was beautifully cared for. Our room was clean and decorated with taste, with interiors that seemed almost architect-designed. The Provençal-style details throughout the place give it an elegant feel and made for a relaxing stay. We’d happily recommend Pioppo e la Fonte. 10 out of 10!

The antique furnishings give the spacious rooms a lot of character. It’s a positive choice if you’re after peace and a simple way of life. The B&B is in a very quiet area, a little over an hour from Milan and Pavia.

We found this B&B just outside Mortara in the Lomellina countryside and it was a lovely surprise. The owners were extremely helpful, and the place had a warm, colorful feel. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, enjoyed under a lovely wisteria-covered gazebo in the well-kept garden. Excellent value.
