The gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese were really good, and the desserts were too. I’d rate the food 4.5 stars. We came for lunch with friends, and the service was attentive, though we were the only people there.

We watched the sky for stars and weren’t disappointed. It’s a lovely spot for walking and relaxing, with hosts who know their stuff and make food at home. We also got a tour of their cheese and tasted some at dinner. The local honey is coming home with us.

A peaceful locanda tucked into a wild mountain setting. The food and service were excellent.
