Castelmola is small but full of character, with friendly people and enough good restaurants to choose from. For more bustle, you can walk or take a bus down to Taormina. From the apartment, we walked to the beach in about an hour directly, longer if you stop for sights and shops, then took the cable cart and bus back up. Beyond Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Etna, and the beautiful Gole Dell'Alcantata are visitable too. The apartment had recently been renovated and exceeded our expectations, with everything we could need. The hosts were friendly and helpful. You can park for free on the road outside, though it’s a bit of a drive up the hill. The balcony view is a great reward.

The balcony views are phenomenal, and the place is perfectly situated for castelmola. The hosts are friendly, the accommodation is fantastic, clean, and fully equipped, with excellent attention to detail. We’d highly recommend it for a stay at castelamola.

Castelmola is a charming village with good food, and Alfredo can tell you plenty about it. Parking is often available right outside. The hosts were incredibly friendly and quick to reply. Even though we arrived after midnight, Alfredo welcomed us himself, explained a few things, and suggested restaurants. He also responded quickly when we asked for activity tips. I’d definitely recommend renting a car. The accommodation is beautiful and comfortable. From the balcony there’s a lovely view and a sunny place to relax. Both the bedroom and living room have air conditioning, and the shutters on all the windows are very convenient.

Just steps from the town center and 3 km from Taormina, this apartment has a lovely balcony view and works very well for a family of four. The furnishings are perfect, and nothing was missing. Seeing it is believing.

The rooms were clean and the view was stunning, but the apartment wasn’t great. It sits on top of a mountain, so it meant a 30-minute drive each way. The host didn’t speak English and couldn’t really show us around, and there wasn’t much to do nearby. The house itself is nice, just not top-notch accommodation.
