A great base for exploring Tuscany, with Siena only about 15 minutes away by car. The nearest restaurant is 1.5 km away, and we went there four times during our six-night stay. The owners were warm and friendly, even though I arrived much later than I had said I would. Breakfast was the same each day, but tasty and always fresh. Before breakfast, a lovely border collie would greet us in the yard, ready to play with seemingly endless energy. You can also book a free wine tasting during your stay and buy their products. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

I ended up booking somewhere else after waiting two weeks for a reply. First I used the website contact form to ask about a one-night stay two months ahead, then emailed the same question when a week passed with no answer. Another week went by without a response. Maybe they weren't interested because I only wanted one night, but even a brief answer would have saved me from waiting in vain. It was very disappointing to have a potential guest ignored completely. I don't understand how you can run a business that way.

Lovely views across the winery, and the breakfast was great. The rooms were cute and comfortable. It's a family-run winery with just three guest rooms, and the staff were super friendly.

The garden looks out onto an excellent view, and there are two deck chairs facing the vineyard in front of the guest rooms for anyone to use. We also got a free wine tasting and a tour of the winery. The family running the place has owned the farm for 200 years and was very friendly. Breakfast was good too. One driving tip from Firenze: going via Siena takes a little longer, but avoids gravel roads. Fantastic place to stay.

We had a private wine tour and tasting included, led by the owner, who clearly loves what he does and knows a lot about it. The apartments were clean, nicely equipped with kitchens, and had everything we needed. It's a quiet, beautiful spot with a special, almost magical feel. A lovely, authentic family-run vineyard for a stay in Tuscany. We really recommend it.
