The hosts welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. They even cooked dinner, and all the guests sat together and had a nice conversation. The property is peaceful, with vineyards, rolling hills, and plenty of room to relax. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and local, and it’s a good base for visiting nearby towns. A quiet, authentic countryside stay and good value. We really enjoyed it.

We had such a wonderful time sharing meals, conversation, and music with the warm, hospitable hosts. The beautiful place is surrounded by nature and vineyards. Grazie per tutti! Ci vediamo!

Even without staying at Borgo Carpineto, the whole process was a wonderful experience. From our first contact, they were kind, helpful, and always available to answer questions. Their hospitality came through even before arrival. If you’re booking, I recommend calling them directly instead of using third-party links, as that’s the best way to get a smooth, personal experience. Thank you, Borgo Carpineto, for the warmth and professionalism. I hope to visit soon!

The rooms are decent and the winery is very cozy, but what makes it special are the owners. They’re so friendly and hospitable that you feel like a long-lost cousin visiting home to be looked after and pampered. If you want an affordable stay with that Italian home-away-from-home feeling, this is the place.

This farmhouse in the Tuscan hills is a former convent with beautiful scenery. The couple running it were very kind, and staying there felt like visiting distant Italian relatives. It’s a large property and could use more helping hands to keep it up. The owners do their best to make you feel at home, and that’s how it feels when you sleep over at your grandma’s. They pamper you, though they have their own way of hosting. I loved dinner around the shared table in the courtyard, like in the movies. We met people from different parts of the world and enjoyed the owners’ wine and olive oil with the meal. The things I’d improve are the tidiness inside and general upkeep of the grounds. The windows need insect screens so you can open them to let in the hill breeze, since there’s little or no air conditioning. It’s a farm stay, so it won’t suit you if you want a fancy hotel. It’s a step back in time. I didn’t see a pool or jacuzzi as advertised on their site, so I’m not sure if they exist. I’d also suggest more homemade baking and cooking for breakfast. I understand that hotel monodose breakfasts are now standard for hygiene, but it feels like a waste when Italian food is so good. There’s a kilometer of dirt road to reach the borgo, and Siena is 15 minutes away. I wish them all the best, and we’re thankful for the special stay.
