The bed could use an update to something more modern and comfortable. Aside from that, we had a lovely two-night stay. It's a family-run resort, and we met three generations of kind people running it. The setting is beautiful, the accommodations are quaint and roomy, and the products made here are delicious.

This charming, family-owned B&B is a quiet Tuscan retreat in a village founded in the 1100s. It gives you a glimpse of rural, agricultural Chanti, and there are several michelin restaurants in this town of about 100 residents. I hesitate to recommend it too highly, though, because that serenity is at the heart of the place. Don't expect the Four Seasons.

We stopped for lunch during a three-day bike trip, and the view was incredible. Villa a Sesta is such a quaint, beautiful little town. Paola and her mother, who seem to own and run the estate and restaurant, were really friendly and kind. The asparagus risotto was the best I've had in my three weeks in Italy. Absolutely stunning place, and I'd highly recommend stopping here if you can!

The restaurant made a real impression, with outstanding Tuscan food, excellent wines, and a special atmosphere. Villa di Sotto is a magical spot in the heart of Tuscany, with comfortable, clean accommodation and breathtaking views over vineyards and hills. The hosts were kind and always ready to help, and made me feel very welcome. One of the most beautiful places to stay in Tuscany. I'd love to come back.
