Anna's tiramisu was the best I've ever tried, and that's saying something because I'm obsessed and have eaten hundreds. I could spend two or three hours here with my American friend, as meals in Italy tend to stretch out. It's a great casual little restaurant in Castelnuovo di Farfa, with food and a terrace I loved. The owners were really nice too.

Il Cantinone serves fresh food made with care, with great service and very good prices. If you get the chance to try their traditional polenta in October, go for it. You won't regret it!

From how clean everything was to the food, we were impressed. The owners are simple and humble, with old-fashioned values. They deserve ten stars 💓

I spent a week here for work and had dinner every night at the restaurant just a few steps away. The room was clean and cozy, and they tidied it up promptly each morning. The only drawback was no air conditioning. The food is authentic home cooking made with local ingredients, and Mrs. Patrizia cooks it perfectly. Mr. Bruno was kind and helpful in the dining room, walking me through the whole menu. Everything was excellent, from the meat and side dishes to the freshly made carbonara and pasta and beans. The wine was good too, and all the desserts were delicious, including the olive bread. Highly recommend. I'll be back with my family. Hugs to Bruno and Patrizia.

They call it a one-star restaurant, but I'd give it three. For the restaurant stars, though, it would definitely get five from me. Fantastic!
