We slept in a lovely room after enjoying a delicious dinner. The owner was a charming gentleman who showed us around the property and shared his knowledge. It’s a wonderful rural spot with an amazing view, and the Tuscan atmosphere hits you right away. Definitely somewhere worth discovering.

We booked every room to celebrate 2022 with two couples of friends, and had the property’s festive dinner made with local, traditional products. The welcome was excellent, and the rooms were clean and simple. I actually liked that there wasn’t a TV. The white room is my pick for its huge terrace, great for watching the sunset behind Monviso and looking at the stars later.

Quiet and green, a lovely place to unwind. We had a great-value lunch in mid-August, with everything locally sourced, and the family-run staff were very welcoming. We’ve already booked for the fritto misto in October. They also have bed and breakfast.

APPALLING. A FUCKING RIP-OFF I’ve updated this review after the restaurateur responded, first publicly and then privately. Read it in this order: my original review, the restaurateur’s response, a screenshot of the restaurateur’s email, and then my addition. It’s long, but worth it. We paid €25 per person, not including drinks, for a birthday lunch for 50 people: five appetizers and one first course. The setting was beautiful, with a pergola for our exclusive use and a large lawn around it. But the so-called appetizers were two focaccias like something from a bakery, and badly cooked at that, tomini with bland onion compote, and a cubic centimeter per person of peppers with green sauce. That hardly felt like five appetizer courses. The first and last course was nine agnolotti al bianco each. We were told not to ask for more because the portions had been counted. Everything came buffet-style on plastic plates. The drinks were low-end wine, served strictly from cartons. With those included, we spent around fifty euros each for very little bad food and fairly poor drinks. Once we got back to Turin, hunger sent us looking for a mandatory kebab. Good afternoon. I heard about the email you sent to Chiara and Irene. After sharing your useful advice and your statements about me, I’d like to answer your points one by one. Since you published the amounts of food served to 50 guests, I’ll point out that it came to 438 grams per person, including bread and cake, and you were paid €28 per person, drinks excluded. In case you haven’t realized it, you’re completely out of business. Making a lot of the food you serve yourself doesn’t mean you can turn it into dishes worth the price you charge. Your focaccia dough, which you call pizza, and the cake were undercooked, even though you made them yourself. That’s a fact, just like the agnolotti al "burro" being dry. Maybe the tomini and peppers in sauce were okay. The 38 liters of wine and 8 bottles of sparkling wine consumed by 50 people work out to 0.88 liters per person, between 12:30 and 7:00 PM. I mention that because the tone of your public and private replies, and your capital letters, make it clear you thought that was too much. While I’m at it, could you explain more clearly what you mean by "chemical hunger"? I don’t quite understand the term. My kebab shop owner, Mr. Hassan, has a butcher shop next door and makes kebabs with excellent quality lamb. I won’t respond to your remarks about me or the obvious hints that I was supposedly drunk. But many of us talked that evening about your barely disguised rudeness and lack of "tolerance" toward us. We only finally managed to fill up on kebabs and pizza slices.
