The food was outstanding, a real highlight every day, and the wellness area and pool were perfect after skiing. Hotel Tianes is beautiful, well maintained, and cozy, with a great location for skiing. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and you can feel how much heart they put into running the hotel. We honestly have nothing to criticize. An amazing experience, highly recommended, and we’d love to come back.

We spent a very good week at Tianes. The rooms were big and clean, and both breakfast and dinner were pretty good. The staff were very friendly, too. Definitely a place to come back to. Thanks for your hospitality 🤙🏼💪🏼

The spa is amazing, with indoor and outdoor pools overlooking the Dolomites and a great sauna. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and there are lots of helpful extras, including a shuttle to the slopes, ski storage, afternoon tea, and a kids’ play room. The family are friendly and always do their best to meet guests’ needs, and the staff go the extra mile. Alex the sommelier knows his wines and always finds a great match for the food. Patrick the chef made great food, cakes, and breakfast. The village is only a few minutes away by shuttle. The mountain ski-lift station is 15 mins by shuttle, then it’s another 15mins to the slopes. Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and walking up on the slopes are all great for beginners and advanced skiers. My teenage kids loved the wide spaces to learn. The hotel also gives discounts for ski equipment rental and the ski-lift, so take advantage of them. Chalet Tianes in Castelrotto, Sudtirol/Alto Adige on the Dolomites gave us a 5 star experience. We were there for Spring-break and shall come back for the Christmas holidays. It’s an amazing hotel in a beautiful mountain location in Italy, perfect in every way, from the location and staff to the food, spa, and bedrooms. Highly recommended.
