This was our favorite restaurant during our whole two-week trip through Slovenia, Austria, Bavaria and N. Italy, even though we didn’t stay at the inn. The dishes are simple and local, with the feel of a family-run farm-to-table place, and the quality was very high. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. There’s also a free family museum with memorabilia and farm tools, so make sure to visit before or after your meal. Email them for a reservation and go!

We had a great dinner here with the family. The atmosphere is lovely, and you can tell care has gone into everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was nice, and the prices were fair. Our kids can be pretty noisy and loud, but the staff could handle that 😉 We’d definitely recommend it.

A family-run place to recharge in the quiet beauty of the Südtirol, with fresh mountain air, birdsong and church bells. I’d highly recommend the half-board option. The evening meal was wholesome and varied, and it meant we didn’t have to negotiate the narrow mountain road after dark.

A good place to stop for a break in the day. The homemade food was tasty and not excessive, the staff were friendly, and service was quick. Prices are lower than at other places, though this restaurant is quite out-of-hand.

The food was very nice, and I was surprised by the price. The Knödel were fabulous, though I didn’t care for the spinach ones. That’s just my personal taste.
