Hotel Digon

The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful and very helpful, and the hotel itself was nice. We had asked for a mountain-facing room, but ours looked onto the parking lot. Car doors kept us awake at night, and there was no view. Since we were there for just one night it was fine, but for a longer stay, or if the view matters to you, check that you've got a room at the front rather than the back.

The dinners were excellent and creative, with several choices for each course, including a vegetarian option we really appreciated. The hotel shuttle was a big plus, taking guests to the cable car each morning and bringing them back in the afternoon. All the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We've had a great week-long stay at Hotel Digon twice, once in summer and once in winter. The rooms are clean and furnished with beautiful local wooden furniture. The wellness area is modern and very pleasant, with two saunas and a heated outdoor pool overlooking the town.

When my wife got sick during our stay, the team kept checking on us and asking what we needed. The chef even offered to prepare any special food for her. Their genuine care made a big difference and showed real hospitality. The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and supportive. A wonderful experience, and I'd highly recommend it.

We stayed for six nights as a couple, and the food was incredible. The views were amazing, and the staff were the nicest people. Half board with dinner turned out to be the best decision and a great deal. Ski shuttles ran every few minutes each morning, so the location being a bit far from the center wasn't an issue. Highly recommend it, and we'll definitely return.
