B&B Il Tramonto

Manuel and Alejandra are what make this B&B so special. They were wonderful hosts, and their recommendations for places to eat and things to do are well worth asking for. We had a filling, delicious breakfast every day, with a mix of sweet and savory local ingredients, and the coffee was always hot and fresh. Our room was clean, spacious and private, and the location made it easy to walk all over Castelsardo. Choosing Il Tramonto was the best way to begin our Sardinia trip, even if now we don't want to leave for the next stop. Highly recommended for a home-like, authentic stay.

You can easily walk to everything you want to see and do in Castelsardo from here. It's a fabulous BnB at the foot of the hill leading to the old center, and a perfect spot if you're driving. Room 1 on the main floor was extremely spacious and had everything we needed. Manuela & Alejandra welcomed us into their home, not just as BnB guests. The top floor terrace is breathtaking for breakfast or an afternoon break, and they know great places to eat and have lots of suggestions for what to see.

The hosts were pillars of kindness and generosity, making people from many nationalities and backgrounds feel at home. Breakfast was another highlight, especially if you find Italian breakfasts too sweet: their fresh, filling savory choices were excellent. We slept incredibly well in a clean, comfortable room, and the streets were quiet at night. Parking was easy to find, and the location is ideal for exploring Castelsardo on foot. If I return to Castelsardo, this is the only place I'll stay.
