The Square Castelsardo

I booked a room with a balcony, but was given one without it. After we complained, we were moved three days later. The breakfast was dreadful, with things like an old croissant and crackers, and nowhere with a table and chair to sit and eat. There was no real soundproofing between rooms, just locked doors, so everything from next door carried through. At least our room was cleaned properly every day. The square's usual bustle, with people, cars, and restaurants, was something I expected. What I didn't expect was a large stage right below the windows, with DJs playing loudly almost every day until 2 or 3 a.m. I wish the host had warned us that we'd lose sleep all week. When we complained and asked to cancel and move elsewhere, Sergio was arrogant. He said that was just how it was, that it was our problem, and that he wouldn't give up his money. He seemed to care only about money and showed no common sense when we tried to reach a compromise. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here. You won't get proper rest or sleep, and I'd rather pay someone kind who deserves the money than someone like Sergio, who came across as selfish and arrogant.
