B&B Il Tempio di Hera

There was no breakfast during our visit because the breakfast area was being remodeled, but we found plenty of places to eat just a short walk away. The owner spoke English and knew the area well. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the property has plenty of secure parking off the street. Selinunte's entrance is within a quarter mile. Thanks, Rick. Jan, 1st 2024

We could park inside the property, behind heavy gates that are closed from night until dawn. When we loaded the car, we found a large A4 envelope with a small sticker thanking us for staying there, along with a large print of a Roman Szene, presumably from Selinunte. A thoughtful touch. The apartment was large and immaculately clean, with a balcony overlooking the temple. The towels were thick, the shower worked properly, the bathrobes were there, and the beds were comfortable. I had the best night's sleep in a long time. Our host was charming, attentive, and full of information, and the welcome was especially nice after a very disappointing incident and experience at the Selinunte Archeological park. We could choose our breakfast items. I asked for two caffe lungo each, and the next morning we got four cups of caffe lungo each. A small thing, but lovely. There was plenty to eat, including croissants, toast, jams, butter, and more. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

The staff were kind and helpful, and everywhere we wanted to visit was within walking distance. The rooms were huge, clean, and beautiful. I'd definitely book here again on my next trip to Sicily.

They let us keep our bikes indoors, and the place was super clean and biker friendly. The owner was wonderful, very accommodating, and had great dinner tips as well as lots to tell us about the area. Breakfast was great, especially the delicious spremuta. I highly recommend this place, it had everything we needed and more.
