A car is essential here, though local beaches, markets, restaurants and sights are an easy, quick drive away. We loved the Sicilian breakfasts on the terrace, looking over the courtyard, available for an extra charge. The hosts were so kind, friendly and welcoming. The old farmhouse has real character, with traditional furnishings, thoughtful details and spotless rooms. Set on a working olive farm in the Sicilian countryside, it was quiet and peaceful, and felt like a genuine taste of Sicily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

The spacious rooms stayed cool and had all the comforts we needed. Thick walls kept things wonderfully quiet at night, and the private outdoor areas were lovely for evenings in the sea breeze. There’s also a large inner courtyard. The welcoming hosts were always ready to help and attentive to what guests needed. The farmhouse is close to the Selinunte archaeological park and broad, uncrowded beaches with plenty of traditional places to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by how many wineries there are nearby. I hope to come back soon.

We left Sicily already wanting to come back and experience that atmosphere again. At the Terracreando farmhouse, sisters Annapia and Silvana Giusy and their lovely family welcomed us with such care. The olive groves, quiet and beautiful setting gave us a kind of peace and magic that felt far removed from everyday life. It was more than a holiday, it was a chance to share in customs and flavors that made the stay feel authentic and renewing. The creativity, generosity, courage and passion of these two women, rooted in their love of tradition, come through in everything. You can feel it, and it warms your heart in this breathtaking corner of Sicily.

A welcoming, beautiful and peaceful place for a holiday surrounded by nature, olive trees and the sound of cicadas. Sisters Annapia and Giusi really looked after us, with homemade cakes and granitas. We hadn't booked breakfast or linens, but they still made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful break, and for those delicious lemons.

The apartment was small, spotless and comfortable, with its own enclosed little garden, in an old farmhouse. What makes the place special is its countryside feel: thick limestone tuff walls that stay cool in the heat, dark skies full of stars, swallows and other birds by day, crickets at night, and wind moving through the trees. The Sicilian light and walks among the olive trees were lovely too. The owners are kind and friendly. Getting here from the highway is easy, and the location puts you within short reach of Selinunte's archaeological park, beaches, Castelvetrano and its surroundings. Roads and the railway also make many nearby towns easy to reach.
