Villa I Gelsomini in Castelvetrano

The location worked really well for visiting the parco archeologico di serinunte. We had the whole place to ourselves, and the room was perfect. The staff were okay, though a little serious.

I've never come across staff this rude to customers. Maybe it was because I contacted them in English, but if tourists are a problem for you, you shouldn't be working in tourism.

Nino and Anna were so kind and professional, and were always around when we needed them. They made us feel at home. The B&B is peaceful, beautiful, elegant, and spotless, with olive trees all around it. There's plenty of free private parking, and it's between Castelvetrano and the Archaeological Park, just a few minutes from Selinunte's white beaches. The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, including pastries, fresh fruit, espresso and cappuccino, and warm croissants with ricotta. I highly recommend those. They also provide lactose-free and gluten-free products, which you don't always find elsewhere. Our room had all the comforts we needed, including air conditioning, toiletries, a TV, a fridge, and Wi-Fi. Outside, there are comfortable sofas where you can sit and enjoy the setting, plus two ponds and a small playground for children. It's also a good fit for people who want to bring their animals along on vacation. We thought it was especially good value for money.

Selinunte Archaeological Park, Mazara del Vallo, and the Belice Nature Reserve are all within easy reach. We spent three days here and felt at home. The place was very clean, and breakfast was generous, with croissants filled with fresh ricotta. Mr. Nino and Mrs. Anna were so welcoming and kind. We highly recommend it.
