Villa il Moro

Villa il Moro has lovely nearby places to eat and shop: a gelato and pizzeria, bakery, deli, and a small market with a good selection. We spent three weeks there in July and August and loved the owners, who made us feel like part of the family from the start. The house is beautiful and roomy, with air conditioning, two bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. There’s a furnished garden with tables, chairs, and a gazebo, plus a handy barbecue area. Our lunches and dinners on the big seafront terrace came with a stunning view of the Sicilian sea. The beach is just a short walk away.

The sea-view veranda was such a lovely spot, and we made good use of the outdoor barbecue. Gina and her husband were warm, helpful hosts who shared great tips on where to go and eat, and made us feel like family. The villa had everything we needed, from dishes and a microwave to air conditioning and a hairdryer, and it was clean and comfortable. There’s a market, a great butcher, and a bar with delicious cannoli nearby. We spent 6 to 12 unforgettable days here, and found it a handy base for visiting sights across the provinces of Trapani and Agrigento. A fantastic stay, highly recommend.

The hosts were kind, professional, and always ready to help, and the villa was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and comfortable for our whole family. It also made a great base for seeing the beautiful places around Sicily. We had a fantastic two weeks at Villa il Moro and couldn’t have picked a better place for this vacation. Thanks so much.
