The description promised a pool view and a sofa, but the curtains were missing around ten hanging points and the sofa wasn't there. The room itself felt like a hospital maternity room, with a prominent crib that seemed about twenty years old, and there was no atmosphere at all. We had a very different experience from what the positive reviews suggest. The receptionist only spoke Italian and made no further effort, saying her husband would come later to check us in. We never saw him, and he wasn't identified either, which seems handy for criminals. There was a threatening letter about a possible bill if we used too much energy. Still, there were no mosquito nets, so we used the air conditioning anyway. We left in the morning without seeing anyone. A strange situation.
