The view is beautiful, the property is well kept, and it’s a peaceful place with dedicated parking, so finding somewhere for the car isn’t a worry. But if being treated like a thief and dealing with lies won’t bother you, it might still suit you. An hour before we left, I would have given it five stars and planned to return. Then we went to get a double espresso. After one shot, we tried to pour a second, but the cleaning lady blocked me and kept saying “no coffee.” She spoke only Italian, not English, Spanish, or French. That would have brought my rating down to four. When we were leaving, she accused us of taking a bottle of water from the minibar, although there hadn’t been one there in the first place. She wouldn’t open the gate and kept saying “2 euro.” We had to reach the owner by phone before she would let us go. That brought it to three stars. The owner then said we had tried to get an eighth coffee. I’d probably be dead after a third, so that claim was ridiculous. That comment ruined all the good feelings about the place.

Everything seemed perfect until the last hour, when housekeeping demanded payment for a bottle of water we hadn’t taken. She also limited us to one shot of coffee, apparently so we wouldn’t drink too much from their kitchen. She didn’t even say goodbye when we left.

Silvia and Gianluca went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms were excellent, clean, peaceful, and comfortable, and the value for money was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The host was friendly, the bed mattress was good, and the coffee was excellent. Breakfast was included too. It was very quiet and spotlessly clean. I recommend it.
