The garden and house made a lovely impression, and I even saw a pheasant outside. Guido was very kind and suggested a good restaurant for dinner. My room had everything I needed, including a hair dryer. Breakfast was modest but satisfying: bread, marmalade, homemade cake, yogurt, cereal, and prosciutto. I had black tea and don’t know whether they offer other kinds. I was there for one night on a work trip. The house sits by the entrance to a park, though it’s also close to the road, so you may hear traffic. I hadn’t realized that, but I was tired and slept peacefully anyway.

We stayed for two nights in this lovely villa, around 10 km from central Bologna. The owners were courteous and helpful, and the rooms and shared areas were elegant, pleasant, and clean without feeling overdone. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well equipped, with simple furnishings and a very peaceful feel. There’s a shared hallway with tea and herbal tea supplies, plus biscuits. Breakfast is included, with excellent homemade cakes and other treats. You can park for free just outside the B&B gate. A bus stop about 150 meters away provides a way into the city center. One thing to know is that the GPS may bring you to a point about 200 meters from the entrance, on the other side of a pedestrian path. The actual entrance is on the main road, Via Villanova, at the intersection with Via E. Morante, and the villa is surrounded by a pleasant park.

Casa Nora sits in a lovely garden on the edge of Bologna, with elegant, tastefully furnished spaces. The welcome was warm and everything was impeccable, and breakfast is all homemade. Highly recommended.
