We felt comfortable thanks to the warm service and peaceful, beautiful setting. The food was really good and typical, almost too much of it! They handled the reservation easily and were very accommodating for the two vegetarians in our group. We were even invited to a yoga class before dinner. Vanessa was a great instructor. I’d definitely recommend it.

The views and location were lovely, and the service was friendly and professional. Dinner was amazing, five stars, and deserves to be enjoyed and appreciated. I rarely leave reviews, but my wife and daughters had the best yoga class with Vanessa before dinner.

The rooms were clean and fine, though a little small and dim. We kept the shutters closed to stop it getting too hot. The bed was comfortable, and there was a small fridge that made a bit of noise at night, but we got used to it. Each room has a private, cozy terrace with sun loungers overlooking the garden and restaurant. The family who run the hotel and restaurant are lovely, always helpful with recommendations and anything we asked. They showed us their garden, full of different fruits and vegetables used in the restaurant, and are very mindful about energy and water scarcity. Sheep, chickens, donkeys, and goats are nearby. Guests can have a changing daily Sardinian menu or a menu degustazione. We ate really well every day, only going out for dinner when they were closed on Monday. Breakfast is meant to be typically Italian, with sweet cakes, croissants, homemade jams, and yogurt with fresh fruit, but they could also provide savory options like omelets, prosciutto, and cheese. The coffee was great too. By car, you can reach Costa Rei, restaurants, and supermarkets, so although it feels rural, the location works well if you want both.

We chose the restaurant for dinner after reading the reviews, and we were happy we did. It was a set menu, but they adjusted it for my lactose intolerance, which I really appreciated. Every course was delicious. You could taste the fresh produce and that local Sardinian cooks had prepared it. It was the best Sardinian dinner we had during our stay. They offered refills after each course, but even as good eaters we couldn’t manage more. At €40 per person, it included water, wine, espresso, and a digestive. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Sardinia.
