Farmhouse Le Capanne, Castiglion Fiorentino

I love it here.

Our class had all the available rooms for an organized stay of a couple of days. It’s a charming, secluded spot, and we were able to party without disturbing anyone. The location is enchanting, with parking for everyone, a lovely shared area, and a pool for hot days. We lit the shared farmhouse’s wood-fired oven in April. The rooms were generally well kept, though many classmates found the beds very uncomfortable. My roommates and I had no complaints about ours. There isn’t much to do in town, but if you want peace and quiet, this is the place. Highly recommend it for groups.

It’s quiet, with a large pool, and makes a great base for excursions. I recommend it.

You can buy local wine and olive oil here, and there’s air conditioning, a barbecue area, and a pool. The pool isn’t especially big, so it could feel cramped if guests from all four apartments wanted to use it at once. The apartments themselves are very clean and a good standard. It’s a typical agritourism experience in a new building styled like an agritourism resort rather than an old farm. The one thing we missed was outlet adapters, so bring or buy those ahead of time.
