The private spa was such a treat. It’s in another part of the castle where the B&B used to be, and has a hot tub, sauna, steam room, bathroom, and relaxation area all to yourself. It costs $45 per person per day, and you can also book a massage. My husband and I visited for two days on our honeymoon, and staying at Suite San Michele was the highlight of our trip. Sonia even picked us up at the train station so we wouldn’t have to drag our cases up the long hill to the medieval center. She made sure we had everything we needed, left us flowers from the garden and delicious organic juice, and shared restaurant suggestions and the history of the town and building. Our spacious room was beautifully decorated, and the generous, delicious breakfast each morning was wonderful. The B&B is right in the medieval center, with shops and restaurants only steps away. We were so glad we found this place, and would love to return. Thank you to Sonia and her staff for making our stay unforgettable.

We visited several places in Tuscany, and this was our favorite. The rooms were lovely, and the garden and its view were outstanding. Everyone was helpful and the service was really good. All the best.

Right in the center of Castiglion Fiorentino, this comfortable bed and breakfast also has a spa. The rooms and apartments were spotless, with modern amenities and thoughtful decor that keeps the medieval building’s charm. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. It’s a great spot for walks around the city, and handy for exploring the region between Arezzo and Cortona.

Sonia, her husband, Marcello, and Cinza were wonderful hosts. We can’t recommend staying here enough. If you want to slow down, relax, and enjoy a step back in time in this community of 13,000, this is the place.
