I was really happy with my stay and only wish I’d booked more than three days. Everything was very clean and sanitized. Francesca was friendly and patient, even when I pestered her with all sorts of questions, and her husband was a lovely person too. I got exactly what she’d told me to expect, no more and no less, so I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’d definitely stay with them again.

I haven’t slept this well in years, and I still feel like I’m with you. The rooms are comfortable, and the owners run the place wonderfully. They’re also a great help if you want to discover new places to visit. We’ve just come back from a quiet, restful stay where we could enjoy nature and the history of the art cities. We spent a weekend here in April. It felt more like a B&B than a farmhouse. We’d specifically asked for a room with an extra bed, but were told there were no rooms available. When we arrived, only our apartment and one room had been booked, yet that room stayed empty for all three days. Breakfast was disappointing, the TV didn’t work, and the windows had no mosquito nets, which I’ve never seen at a place like this, especially as I understand they’re required at all facilities. There’s a lot that needs doing.

We felt right at home with the welcoming, friendly hosts. The farmhouse is only a few kilometers from the lake, and its location makes it easy to drive to interesting towns and villages for their history and food and wine. You can also buy typical local products, including things made by the owners. Recommended for families.
