B&B Antica Gabella

The room was just right, with charming decor, plenty of space, excellent air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, and the owners welcomed us with drinks and pastries as soon as we arrived. They were warm and attentive through our final goodbye. Probably the best place I've ever had the pleasure of staying. I'd come back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I stayed three nights in a lovely little apartment and felt like we were on our honeymoon. The place was beautiful and spotless, with lots of care in the small details and a really high-end feel. The location in the old city was a 10/10.

Benedetta and Silvano made our month in Italy so special. They worked hard to keep everything clean and carried breakfast up the stairs each morning. The room was spotless, and they made us feel cared for and comfortable. They were patient with our limited Italian, too. Benedetta gave us wonderful tips for dinner and shopping, and even arranged a pizza-making session with a local restaurant. That was the highlight of our trip! The hilltop town is built like a fortress, with Lake Trasimeno on two sides. We loved seeing the sailboats, and in May watched an airplane event with amazing stunts over the lake. The location also made it easy to get to Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Perugia, Montepulciano, and Tuscany. Everything was over the top!

Giovanna and her husband were fantastic hosts, and the building is beautifully decorated and so well cared for. They went out of their way to look after us at breakfast. The place was very affordable, and we'll always remember our stay. Thank you!
