You can see across the landscape as far as Cortona from here. The house sits by a charming olive grove, with geese wandering around, cats hiding, and goats behaving as if they're starving. That's goats for you, and my dog made friends with them straight away. The busy main road is hardly audible. In September there was unfortunately nobody there. By bike, it's a 10-15 minute ride along the lakeshore, and the train station is 1.5 km away. From there, trains go to Florence, Arezzo and Cortona, or toward Chiusi Terme and Rome.
