We had a spacious suite facing the Marina, and the hotel's brilliant location made things so convenient. It's clean, simple and family-owned. The town is only a two-minute walk away, with restaurants, cafes, gelato shops and a supermarket right next door. There's a drop-off area behind the hotel opposite carrefour, which made checking in and out easy. Parking is available nearby, or free parking is a five-minute walk away. For what we paid, it was a bargain. In the evening, the rooftop bar is a must for views of Castiglione and the sea. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast team were especially sweet and accommodating to our daughter. There was local fruit, yogurt, homemade breakfast cakes, cereal and boiled eggs. I commend the whole team. It's refreshing to see a home-run place, and the value for money is great.

Parking is a hassle here. You may have to leave the car about 500 meters from the hotel, across the river, or pay 10 Euro per day. Free spots marked with white lines exist, but are practically impossible to find. The hotel itself is right in the city center and has spacious rooms, very good prices and an exceptionally good breakfast for this kind of place. It's a funny little hotel run by a three-generation family, with a very sympathetic, very old grandma at the head. It is a bit run-down.

I still can't say anything about the hotel itself, but I've visited the bar and rooftop terrace several times. The staff there were really friendly, the drinks were good, and the terrace has a fantastic view of the sea, harbor and city.
