We found the positive reviews here very one-sided. For us, this was a one-star experience at most, and an expensive one. Our room was tiny and completely overpriced, barely big enough for the bed. The bathroom was a narrow corridor with a minuscule window. The food was the one highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were very good, though the seating was so cramped that you couldn’t help hearing every conversation at the next table, no matter how bizarre. The dining area roof leaked, and we got to experience a thunderstorm and torrential rain firsthand. No one on staff helped us get to safety. One night, the owners held a loud, raucous party directly below our room without warning or any apology afterward. The music boomed until 4 a.m., and you could feel the bass through the floor. Other guests also left at very short notice. Our friends had a truly negative experience too, and we definitely won’t return.

We spent a wonderful week at the Piccolo Hotel with our two little girls. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. Its location is very strategic, just steps from the sea and a few minutes on foot from the town center. I highly recommend it, and we’ll be back soon.

I’d read lots of reviews before booking, and I hope this one helps someone else. I’ve stayed at this little hotel several times with my wife and two daughters, and everything has been perfect each time. The rooms were always clean, the food was magnificent, and the staff were fantastic. Special kudos to Antonio, my daughters’ idol. The sea is only steps away, with shallow water that’s perfect for small children. You can also rent bicycles, which is really useful. I ordered 2 kilos, and everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be back. BYE TO THE SMALL HOTEL. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.

Our vacation was meant to last 10 days, but we left the next day, so it was ruined. The room was so tiny that two people could barely move around, really more like a single room. The manager had stressed when we booked that it was small, but we hadn’t imagined it would be this small. There was a little balcony, but mosquitoes made it unusable. We couldn’t even leave the French window open. Bad experience, and we won’t be returning.
