The air conditioning kept us awake at night. With the window open, the noise stopped, but once we shut it, the unit's motor made a loud, constant sound and woke us several times. We raised the issue with staff twice and got no real help. They just told us to leave the window open. That was a disappointing response from a four-star hotel, and we slept badly throughout our stay.

There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance, and Lake Garda is about a 20-minute drive away. The hotel itself feels modern, with unusual pieces and details connected to Red Cross history. Our room was spotless, the staff were friendly, and there was plenty of free parking nearby.

The location worked well for us, with free parking nearby, a shopping mall just a few minutes away, and a couple of restaurants close by. Breakfast was the weak point. There weren't many choices, and the staff could be slow. During our four nights, we'd usually arrive around 7:30, but the bread and eggs were often gone. Guests had to ask before the missing food was replenished.

Every room has its own design, and ours was spacious. The hotel also has a great exterior. Breakfast was very good, with a nice range of food. The only downside was the thin walls, since we could sometimes hear people in nearby rooms.
