Breakfast was just sweets, coffee and a choice of juices. My wife and I stayed four nights, and the staff were very kind and always ready to help. The place was immaculate, without a speck of dust. The bathroom was a bit old, but consistently very clean and supplied with fresh towels. I also liked the clothespins on the hanger by the room window. We'll happily come back next summer.
We came just for dinner, not to stay at the hotel, and sat on the restaurant terrace. The staff were very friendly, the menu was good, and the portions were huge. The fish tasted excellent and was really fresh. We shared a fish antipasti with six different dishes, then couldn't finish the pasta. I've lived in Italy and rarely had such a good range of fish starters. The seafood in the pasta was fresh and delicious too. We picked a lovely Salento Rosé by the glass, served from a bottle, following the Lady Maître's suggestion. We sent our compliments to the Chef and his pupils. It's a little outside the village center, which worked well for parking: in Santa Maria di Leuca it's nearly impossible to find a spot, and the available spaces are blue zone until 1am. Here we parked very close by for free in a regular space. We had a wonderful evening. I want to return during this vacation, even though it's a 25-minute drive, because it was worth it.
What a wonderful hotel in a lovely, quiet little village. Serena at reception was more than perfect. The breakfast the next morning alone was worth the €45,-- we paid for a private room with bathroom and air condition. Grazie Mille Popoli
Lunch here was amazing. The spaghetti with vongole and the seafood pasta were both exceptional. We'd recommend it for either lunch or dinner.
