The beach isn’t really worth a visit, but the remains of the closed mine make for a cool place to see.

The water is crystal clear and cool where the springs come up. It’s a rocky stretch of coast, often used by local families and people who know the Adriatic coastline. Great for a shorter stop by the sea, though be ready for a long flight of steps to get down. It’s worth it, but parking can be quite hard to find.
The sea is superb, clean and clear, and lovely for a swim, if you don’t mind a rocky shore. Wear sturdy sandals that work on the rocks, and try to get there early for parking. Finding a spot can be a real hassle, especially in town. Enjoy your swim!
Clear water, a beautiful rocky beach, and a breathtaking view over Castro Bay. Highly recommended.
The cliffside setting and fantastic sea are stunning. Swimming through the underwater springs feels rejuvenating. The one drawback is that this isn’t a suitable spot for children, since it’s a cliff.
