We had the large bedroom, tramontana, and loved the view. Amadeo and Cristina were lovely too. You can also book a relaxing shiatsu massage. We highly recommend the place.

We loved the calm atmosphere at B&B Macchia di Pele, a great spot to unwind. The breakfast terrace has a magnificent view of the sea, and Amedeo is incredibly kind and helpful, as well as a very good cook. It's in a quiet area, just a short walk from the center of Castro. If we come back to Puglia, we'd stay here again.

The owners, Nancy and Amedeo, were courteous and helpful, and the place was very clean. Amedeo welcomed us and made a hearty breakfast, always thoughtful and cheerful. The setting is quiet and tucked away on a small hill, with a sea view, but the town center isn't too far. Castro Marina is 2 km away. It felt like a little oasis, and we'd gladly return.
