We had a lovely stay and plan to return. Teresa welcomed us warmly, and the same care continued right through checkout. The apartment was clean and roomy, with terrace access and an incredible view toward the sea and the Santa Maria di Leuca promontory. Definitely recommended.

The view from the terrace over the Gulf of Salento is a full 10/10, and you can even make out Greece and Albania. The place is spotless and conveniently located in a historic building, though it's up on the second floor with no elevator. Mrs. Teresa is around 70 and has such a friendly, affable, pleasant way about her. My sincere compliments ❤. I'll be back. I just hope I don't get fined for driving into the ZTL. Teresa told me I wouldn't, so fingers crossed.

We spent three nights with family in the first week of August. The two-room apartment was spacious, with a separate kitchen. It's not a B&B, though there's a good bar in the scenic square about 20 meters away. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and cleanliness was clearly a priority. The rooms have windows but no view; you can use the panoramic terrace instead. Mrs. Teresa was very friendly and helpful, including with contact information. You can drive into the historic center to load or unload. Bars, pastry shops, restaurants and cafes, supermarkets, and parking are close by. There's also parking at the little square, about 450 meters away. Nearby sights include the castle, ancient church, excavations of the Temple of Minerva, and the statue of Athena. The beautiful, well-equipped seafront with boat services is easy to reach by car or train.

The house is basic but extremely clean, right in Castro's historic center and close to countless beaches. Mrs. Teresa is the real highlight: warm, kind, and helpful, always attentive to what guests need and ready to lend a hand or make you feel cared for. We had a highly recommendable stay. Teresa and her family made us feel at home in this magical place, and it was very good value for money. The rooms are simple but spotless, with air conditioning and WiFi. There's a roomy, nice bathroom, a kitchenette with a fridge, and a terrace you can use anytime, overlooking Castro Marina and the fantastic Aragonese Castle. I'd recommend it for families, couples, or groups. We had a wonderful time.
