The homemade donuts Carla makes for breakfast are delicious, and she’s also happy to point you toward good places to eat. Carla's B&B Luoghi Antichi has a very spacious, new room and a great spot just steps from the main street. Carla herself is warm and incredibly kind. If you’re in Castrovillari, I highly recommend staying here.

I slept well here, and the clean space has the comforts you’d expect from a B&B, plus some thoughtful details that are especially useful. Carla is an extremely kind and helpful host, much like the welcoming B&B itself. I was in Castrovillari for work, and staying here was essential. It’s on a quiet street in the center, so you can walk to monuments, attractions, bars, pastry shops, restaurants, and pubs. It also stays cool in summer. It suits families, couples, and people visiting for work. I hope to return.

The beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom, which had all the amenities and felt comfortable. Carla thoughtfully provides soaps, and the towels and linens smelled lovely. A welcoming, family-friendly place with attention to detail. It’s just steps from the center, and parking is right outside the B&B.

The ground-floor apartment sleeps three, and the bathroom is large. I was there for a literary conference about my novel "La Vita Attesa" (Golem Edizioni), and I slept perfectly. The B&B is in the city center, yet it’s truly peaceful. The room is very spacious, with charming wooden beams on the ceiling. Breakfast had excellent jams, hot chocolate, and pastries, with coffee and milk made in the room. An excellent place.
