I felt safe staying here for the week. The beach and a metro stop with service into the city are both nearby, and the owners were kind, caring, and always around to answer questions.

The owners were so friendly and kind during my couple of days here. It's also well placed, with the coast and city centre both within easy reach. I'd recommend it!

The location made it easy to get around and reach the main attractions, and the owners, two elderly people, were helpful and clearly trying their best. Still, the stay as a whole was very disappointing, especially for €90 a night plus €15 daily for parking. My first night was in an attic room that felt unlivable. It was dirty, had no window, and the ceiling was only 1.60 meters high, which made it feel oppressive. There was a moldy, stale smell too. Cooking odors also lingered through the rooms and halls throughout my stay, so relaxing was difficult. I reported several issues right away, but nothing was sorted out. The shower was broken and stayed that way, and my very uncomfortable mattress was never replaced. The property itself felt disorganized as soon as I walked in, and that feeling seemed to carry through the place. I'm sorry to leave a negative review when the owners put in so much effort, but the result just wasn't enough for a pleasant stay.

The metro is about a five-minute walk away, making this a handy base for seeing Catania. It's in a late-19th-century building, with comfortable rooms and ceilings around five meters high. There's a paid parking garage right across from the B&B, which is very convenient.
